Pair, Alto TS 110 A, 10 PA Active/Powered Loudspeakers (300W continuous)

Pair, Alto TS 110 A, two-way, 10 PA Active/Powered Loudspeakers (300W continuous, 600W max). These two Alto active/powered loudspeakers have been used but are still in excellent condition and full working order. Usage has been very limited, generally as stage monitors (subsequently replaced by IEMs) but, just occasionally, as extension-PA speakers to distribute sound into smallish side-rooms in difficult venues. The Altos have been PAT tested in January 2020 and come with protective slip-on covers, Instruction Booklets and their original boxes/packaging. A slight, mechanical modification has been made to each Altos Vol/gain control knob for Input 1/Ch.

1 in order to limit the possible amplification factor, of any line-level signal fed to Inputs 1, to a safeguarded working level. In short, the modification overcomes a very poorly designed control knob/feature and safeguards each speakers transducers from possible overload/damage. The mod physically prevents a user from engaging the pre-amplifier sections of Inputs 1 which are intended solely for amplifying mic-level signals but not line-level signals.

However, should a user desire to remove this modification, it would be easily achieved with minimal physical damage to a speaker. Inputs 2 are un-modified and are, now, intended only for pre-amplifying mic-level signals. Features of active 2-way 10 loudspeaker. 300 W continuous, 600 W peak power [Class D]. 10 low-frequency transducer, 1 neodymium driver. Two mic/line combo inputs with independent volume/gain controls. XLR output to link speakers. Lightweight, trapezoidal cabinet with handle. Stand and pole-mountable or flyable.

Clip Limiter with red LED. Contour switch for increased EQ control. Use as traditional upright loudspeaker or as floor wedge monitor. 10" Woofer with 1.5" voice coil.

Neodymium compression driver, 1 exit with 1 voice coil. 600 Watts peak (470 W LF + 130 W HF), 300 Watts continuous (235 W LF + 65 W HF). (-10 dB): 53 Hz - 20 kHz.

(±3 dB): 70 Hz - 19 kHz. 123 dB peak, 120 dB continuous.

6 dB Nominal Coverage: 80° / 100° horizontal x 60° vertical, nominal. 2 x mic / line female XLR - 1/4 combo inputs, 1 x Loop - Out male XLR. Line / mic - to +50 dB, Maximum input level +23 dBu, Input Impedance 15 kOhms. Volume, Power switch with LED indicator, Clip/Limit LED, Ground Lift switch. 100 VAC, or 110 120 VAC, or 220 - 240 VAC (50 / 60 Hz).

Trapezoidal, with floor monitor capability. Injection moulded, polypropylene enclosure, with perforated steel grille. Integrated pole-socket 36 mm dia.
