The HD6 contains conventional analogue amplifiers that sound top class when compared to lower-cost digital amps from mass-produced brands. The speaker cabinets, drivers, innovative bass port designs, amplifiers, and passive crossovers have all been tuned together for each Audioengine model. The creation of the HD6's guarantees a completely new listening experience, easily connecting to a smartphone, tablet, PC, TV, network player or other audio products. Most Bluetooth devices have a very limited range typically confined to one room.

Through careful signal management circuitry and antenna tuning, HD6 is a superior multi-room solution with up to 3 times the range of standard Bluetooth with no loss in audio quality. 24-bit DAC The DAC in the HD6's uses a AKM AK4396A DAC, known for its low-noise and high-fidelity. The optical input ensures bit-perfect 24-bit DAC processing sample rates up to 192kHz. For Bluetooth, AK4396A works as an upsampling DAC to 24-bits, gaining a higher signal-to-noise ratio and lower noise floor. The amplifiers are within the left speaker, that are rated as class A/B analogue monoblock's providing exceptional quality and greater flexibility.

All circuit boards for the power and preamp sections have been vertically mounted for optimum mechanical shock protection. Wireless works with all devices and apps. No network setup, no passwords, no hassle.
